Newspaper Sale
Since 1918, the Jackson Kiwanis Club has held a Newspaper Sale one day in December, to raise money for shoes and boots for needy children in the Jackson Public School district. More than $700,000 has been raised.
This year it is Friday, December 15. Club members were stationed at various spots around the community, “selling” the Kiwanis Newspaper Edition, a publication that highlights the club’s activities. They give away the paper in exchange for donations.
